Terms of service

Last updated: September 27, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of www.solorart.com and your purchase of products from Solorart.

By accessing the website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.

1. About Solorart

Solorart is an independently operated online art studio based in Zhangzhou, Fujian, China.

In these Terms, “Solorart,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Solorart online store. “You” and “customer” refer to the person using the website or purchasing a product.

Our physical address is:

Solorart
Wenquan International Villa
Jiaomei Town, Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone
Zhangzhou, Fujian 363107
China

Email: support@solorart.com
Telephone: +86 198 5919 3201

The online store is hosted using Shopify. Payments are processed through PayPal. Shopify and PayPal are independent service providers and are not the seller of Solorart products.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing information, and delivery address.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for activities carried out through your account.

3. Products and Hand-Painted Artwork

Solorart sells hand-painted artwork, including made-to-order artwork.

Because each painting is created by hand, minor variations in brushwork, texture, color, details, composition, and dimensions may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and do not automatically constitute a defect.

Product photographs may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, and screen settings. We make reasonable efforts to display colors and details accurately but cannot guarantee that every device will reproduce them exactly.

A product made after an order is placed is not automatically considered customized. Artwork ordered using only the standard options shown on the product page remains standard artwork unless it is personalized or materially changed at the customer’s request.

4. Custom and Commissioned Artwork

Custom or commissioned artwork may be created from customer-provided photographs, text, instructions, or other reference materials.

By providing materials to Solorart, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to provide and use those materials;

  • Our use of the materials to complete your order will not violate another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; and

  • The materials are lawful and do not contain prohibited content.

You grant Solorart a limited permission to use the provided materials solely as reasonably necessary to create, revise, and deliver the ordered artwork and provide related customer service.

We may refuse a custom request that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, unsafe, or outside our production capabilities.

5. Artwork Preview and Customer Approval

After production is completed, we will send preview photographs to the email address provided with the order.

You may approve the artwork or request reasonable revisions consistent with the original order.

We will frame the artwork, where applicable, and ship it only after receiving your clear approval.

If we do not receive a response within 12 calendar days after sending the preview, we will send a reminder and place the order on hold.

Lack of response is not approval. We do not automatically approve, frame, or ship artwork because the customer has not responded.

Time spent waiting for approval or revision instructions is excluded from production and delivery estimates.

Approval of the preview confirms acceptance of the artwork’s visible appearance at that stage. Approval does not waive your rights concerning shipping damage, hidden defects, an incorrect item, or a product that materially differs from the approved preview.

6. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected product.

An order is accepted after payment has been successfully authorized and we have confirmed that the order can be produced and delivered.

We may contact you for additional information before accepting or producing an order.

We may reject or cancel an order if:

  • The product cannot reasonably be produced;

  • The delivery address cannot be served;

  • Payment cannot be verified;

  • The order appears fraudulent or unlawful;

  • The customer has supplied prohibited material; or

  • A pricing or product-description error has occurred.

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, we will issue a refund to the original PayPal payment method.

7. Prices, Payment, and Promotions

Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website.

Solorart accepts payment through PayPal. Payment options presented by PayPal are controlled by PayPal and may depend on the customer’s country and PayPal account status.

Solorart does not directly store complete payment card information.

Promotional codes must be entered before checkout is completed. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied retroactively.

If a clear pricing error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund rather than fulfill the order at the incorrect price.

8. Taxes, Customs, and Shipping Charges

Free standard shipping is provided for all United States orders.

For United States deliveries, Solorart covers ordinary import duties and customs clearance charges associated with the shipment. Applicable sales tax, where required, may be calculated and collected at checkout.

For destinations outside the United States, shipping charges and availability will be shown at checkout or confirmed before order acceptance. The recipient may be responsible for local import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other government charges unless expressly stated otherwise.

Further details are provided in our Shipping Policy.

9. Production and Delivery

The usual production time is approximately 7–10 business days. Large, heavily textured, multi-panel, custom, or commissioned artwork may require additional time.

After approval, delivery normally takes approximately 4–8 business days.

All timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. Time spent waiting for customer information, revision instructions, or preview approval is not included.

Shipping delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, public holidays, incorrect addresses, or events outside our reasonable control do not automatically constitute a breach of these Terms.

10. Changes and Cancellations

You may request a change or cancellation by emailing support@solorart.com.

A full cancellation and refund may be provided if painting has not yet begun.

After painting has begun, the order cannot be cancelled for change-of-mind reasons. Requested changes may require additional time and charges, which will be disclosed before the additional work begins.

An order placed on hold because the customer has not responded to a preview is not automatically cancelled or refunded.

11. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Standard, non-customized artwork may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery, subject to our Refund and Return Policy.

Custom, commissioned, and personalized artwork is not eligible for a change-of-mind return. This does not affect remedies for damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially non-conforming products.

Approved change-of-mind returns must be sent to our return location in Zhangzhou, Fujian, China. The customer is responsible for change-of-mind return shipping.

Solorart covers reasonable authorized return costs where the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, materially different from the approved preview, or otherwise our responsibility.

Our Refund and Return Policy forms part of these Terms.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Solorart name, website design, text, graphics, photographs, videos, product presentation, and other website content are owned by or lawfully used by Solorart.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, scrape, republish, modify, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission or another valid legal basis.

Purchasing a physical artwork does not automatically transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

13. Reviews and Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content for publication, you confirm that the content is truthful, lawful, and does not infringe another person’s rights.

You grant Solorart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to display, reproduce, and format that content for website, customer-service, and promotional purposes.

We will not publicly use customer-supplied portrait references or private custom-order photographs for marketing without permission.

We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or unrelated to the product or service.

14. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website:

  • For unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • To infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights;

  • To transmit malware or harmful code;

  • To interfere with website security or operation;

  • To collect information about others without authorization;

  • To place fraudulent orders or misuse payment systems; or

  • To submit abusive, obscene, threatening, or unlawful material.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, PayPal, analytics providers, shipping carriers, and social-media platforms.

Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Solorart is not responsible for the content or independent practices of a third-party website or service.

16. Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to keep product information, pricing, availability, and website content accurate.

However, to the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every error will be corrected immediately.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solorart will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed.

Where liability may legally be limited, Solorart’s total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or other matters protected by mandatory law.

18. Force Majeure

Solorart is not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, government restrictions, customs actions, transportation interruptions, labor disputes, internet outages, or carrier failures.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and complete the order when circumstances allow. If completion becomes impossible, we may cancel the affected order and provide an appropriate refund.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and transactions with Solorart are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This choice of law does not exclude or reduce mandatory consumer protections that apply under the laws of the customer’s country or place of residence.

Before starting formal proceedings, customers are encouraged to contact support@solorart.com so that we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.

20. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our operations, services, legal obligations, or website.

The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The Terms in effect when an order was placed generally apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with the customer.
